Our Roots
Founded in Lafayette, California, by a group of visionary parents, young adults, and our first director, Helen Young, Futures Explored began as “The Enterprise” — a small, handcrafted goods program run largely by volunteers. At a time when options were few, we created new possibilities.
Today, we’re proud to continue that legacy — impacting thousands of lives across Northern California and growing stronger every year.
